I got a new smartphone recently and found that it had a slow-motion option when recording video. I tested it out while at the Canberra Show on the weekend.
The device tested was a Samsung Galaxy Note2.

Someone’s creativity with just a little electrical tape…
An old photo from a while back – when I was avidly taking snaps of Graffiti in my area. This was on a very major road in Canberra, Australia. Seems appropriate for living not that far away from the Snowy Mountains.
These days it now has a couple of other stickers on it that ruin the look.

Dropped into a friend’s secondlife sim to seek out some good photo spots – and found some glowy butterflies in the night air..
It was a bit tricky getting a few of them into the shot but managed to work them in.

Another location in the same sim.
Some Australian birds coming down to feed on seed. The white ones are the Australian Cockatoos, and the Grey & Pink ones are called Galahs.

Some friends and I do the occasional day-long drive through the local countryside – this is part of a run through Kosciuszko National Park – where some roads get a bit narrow and steep and winding through the mountainside. While the video may not show it well – some sections of road get pretty steep!
This video summarises the journey we go through on these occasions. Where we favour roads that give entertainment value when driving, roads that give us hills, twisting turns and interesting scenery.
